The epic musical, Miss Saigon made its London premiere in the year 1989. Cameron Mackintosh’s spectacular production of Boublil and Schonberg’s blockbuster saga is one of the most loved and hugely successful London musicals. The record breaking London show has been enjoyed in 28 countries and 15 different languages.

Miss Saigon is the winner of 40 awards which includes 2 Olivier awards, 3 Tony awards and 4 Drama Desk awards. Approximately 35 million people have enjoyed the magnificent show. The show is set in the year 1975 and revolves around an American GI and a 17 year old young Vietnamese woman, Kim.

Due to some unfortunate incidents, Kim has to work in a sleazy Saigon night club which was owned by Engineer, a notorious wheeler-dealer. The heart touching love saga is complete treat for theatre lovers.

Cameron Mackintosh stated, “I find it hard to believe that it is already 25 years since I first premiered MISS SAIGON in London, where it became the greatest success ever in the long history of the Drury Lane Theatre and went on to be a phenomenal success around the world.” Laurence Connor will direct the brand new production.

The show has recently given live performance on 20th June and enjoyed by half a million people. The live show was held in Trafalgar Square. The new star cast includes Chris Peluso as Chris, Siobhan Dillon as Ellen, Natalie Mendoza as Gigi, Jon Jon Briones as The Engineer and Hugh Maynard as John.
